God is so good to us! His mercy is new everyday, but, He gave us an extra dose of it on Thanksgiving! We had friends over to celebrate with us, which made the day extra special. I made dads famous Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie.... which turned out delicious, of course! :)
Bill and Shirley spent the night Wednesday night, so we stayed up baking and then relaxing on the back porch in front of the firepit.
Thursday morning we had breakfast in front of the firepit and toasted to new beginnings. The rest of the day was spent preparing for dinner. After the feast we all enjoyed a game of Corn Hole in the front yard. All-in-all it was a wonderful day!
