7 miles of fun

Today was a new adventure. Emily and I hopped in the Wrangler equipped with a bike rack and drove to my friend Holly's house. We loaded up her bike and her son Bryson. After getting back to my house we hopped on our bikes and rode to the duck pond in Old San Jose to feed the ducks. There were beautiful ducks, white geese, and turtles! The kids (Bryson and Emily) had fun feeding them some pita bread. It was shady and there was a nice breeze.

After the animals were sufficiently fed we hopped back on the bikes and rode down to San Marco. By this time we were all hungry so we stopped for lunch at Firehouse Subs. After getting our energy back up we rode around the corner to a park in San Marco. The kiddos enjoyed swinging....and more swinging....and more swinging!!! They couldn't get enough!

When they started to look like they were going to doze off in the swing we decided to get them back home. We hopped back on the bike and and rode back home. By the time we got back home everyone was tired and sweaty! We rode 7 miles round trip with a baby on the back of the bike and backpacks in tow! Of course I can't feel my legs or rump, but hey, it was FUN!

Sounds like y'all had fun. The duck pond looks peaceful. I'm amazed at your bike riding. Seven miles is a lot and with a little person on the back!
