The Easter Bunny

We took the girls to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. We had already decided if they put up a fuss, we weren't going to push it. But, Little Miss Confidence walked right up and gave him a hug and a kiss, sat on his lap and told him to bring her candy! This was the first time she had been to see the Easter Bunny, so her confidence shocked me and brought a bunch of laughter to Todd and I.
Katie Grace did well also. She doesn't really care what is going on as long as she's being held! :)

Sorry for the poor picture quality. My scanner is not working, so I had to take a picture of the picture! :)

2011 Garnet/Gold Game and Flying High Circus

Our first trip to Tallahassee was a huge success. Everyone was on their best behavior and had a blast.
Of course, we didn't spoil them at all. **Eh hem**

We are pumping Garnet and Gold into their blood as this is where they will be going to school!

Not Busy At All

For some reason this did not post. So here it is a little late:

My lack of blogging is not because 3 kids keep me busy or that we have bio-visits, therapy visits and doctor visits, or because during every nap time I am cleaning and organizing. The truth is that I sit on the couch all day, eat chips and watch tv. There. Now you know the truth! :-p

The real truth is, I am happily exhausted from keeping up with this VERY BUSY schedule. But, we are on a some-what normal schedule now and I am finding that I miss my blog. So here I am during nap time, ignoring the dirty kitchen, sitting at my computer.

First of all I have to say we are completely, head-over-heels in love with these little girls! (And if I tell the whole truth, we are in love with G-man, too. But, he is not up for adoption. so I can't let my heart go there! More on this later....) Back to my girls. MY girls. Ah, that feels so good to type. It sinks in more and more everyday that they are going to be ours! Amazing. Just amazing.
Our adoption process is going very smoothly. Our home-study is finished, paperwork is being finalized, our lawyer is busy at work, and we are waiting to hear our court date (which should be late May or early June)!

Let me tell you about my girls. Hannah (3 1/2) is a girly little sassy pants. She loves to play tea-party and hate bugs, but can also play dirt and trucks with the boys in the front yard.

Katie Grace (4 months) has such a little personality. She smiles all the time and has bonded with me like I gave birth to her! She quiets for me and will normally only let me feed her. She came to us weighing 10 pounds at 3 months old and has quickly grown into a little chunky monkey!

The Lord has blessed us beyond what we could have possibly imagined. These girls were literally just dumped into our lap and this adoption process has gone so smoothly. We could not have asked for more.
God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

Todd's JSO Anniversary

April 1st we celebrated Todd's 9 year anniversary with JSO! I am so proud of him and his career choices! He is an amazing officer!
We made him cookies in the shape of a 9 and met him at Cracker Barrel for dinner.

(All the kids and myself went to dinner, but this was the only picture I snapped. Oops!)

Duck Pond Fun

We love the duck pond at the town center. The first time we took the kids, Hannah wasn't too sure what to do. But this time, she had the hang of it and strutted around like she owned the joint!

Fishin'

Hannah is my girly girl who likes to think she can play tough with the boys. For instance, she likes to yell at them to chase her, but if they catch her she whines. She says she like to fish, but doesn't want to touch the wet bread and freaks out if you reel a fish in. She likes to rough house, but if she gets hurt it's the end of the world!
I LOVE THIS ABOUT HER BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I WAS AM!

We love to fish in Aunt Barb and Uncle Keith's back yard.

She gets the boys to do the icky part for her!
Such a smart little thing! :)

Miss Prissy Pants!
